The Kim Tesoro Woman of the Year Award seeks to honor the impact of exceptional women in Hillsborough and Orange County.
Long-time Hillsborough resident, business owner and former Hillsborough Chamber CEO Kim Tesoro lost her battle with cancer in July 2023. The Woman of the Year Award was named in Kim’s honor to celebrate her legacy of service to the community and her passion for the town and Central Carolina Women in Business, the women’s professional development program she helped establish. The Kim Tesoro Woman of the Year Award will be presented each October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
