Volunteer!

The Hillsborough/Orange County Chamber of Commerce couldn’t pull off Orange County’s largest festival without assistance, of course. We rely heavily on staff of Orange County Government, staff of the Town of Hillsborough, and on VOLUNTEERS from the community. VOLUNTEERS are our favorite Hog Day attendees. Each Hog Day Volunteer gets a free t-shirt, a free soft drink (or bottle of water) and a free Barbecue Sandwich, in exchange for 3 hours of fun work. VOLUNTEERS do everything from help with setup, sell barbecue and drinks, help the bands on and off stage, collect tickets and donations at the gates. It’s all easy work and you’ll be right in the thick of things. AND, if you have a community service requirement from your high school, this can help you fulfill it!
