This is a self-guided tour. The tour begins at the Alexander Dickson House, 150 East King Street, where you will pick up your
keepsake ticket booklet. The booklet contains descriptions and history of the tour sites.
We ask that you be respectful of the sites on the tour. Some of them are public buildings, some are private homes, but all are of historic significance.
You will be provided at each house with non-slip footwear to wear over your shoes. Please wear these at all times while in the private homes on the tour to protect soft flooring from damage.
We ask that you refrain from smoking or chewing gum at all of the tour sites. In addition, not all of the tour sites are appropriate for small children, and not all are handicapped accessible.
We ask that you leave strollers outside the private homes and that you obey any requests by the homeowner.
Parking – there are signs downtown designating parking areas. Please park your car and either walk the tour route or use the free shuttle service. Shuttle buses will leave continuously from the Visitor’s Center for Evergreen and the Plambeck Home. If you choose to drive on the tour, please be courteous as you park your vehicle.
